ACHE and APIC: Path of Infection Preventionist from Practitioner to Executive Leader

Recorded On: 11/08/2023

In the past, Infection Preventionists have been portrayed only as subject matter experts. However, as the role has evolved and scope or responsibilities have expanded, there are leadership qualities that are a necessary companion to technical expertise to truly be proficient as an IP with today’s healthcare demands. In this presentation we will discuss why leadership development is essential to successful IP practice and focusing on these skills can create a path to executive leadership.
